Marketing Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

HV Retail and Distribution Ltd is seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing Officer to support its marketing initiatives across various channels.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, with a solid understanding of both digital and traditional marketing strategies. This role involves community management, supporting digital ad campaigns, and handling basic graphic design tasks using tools like Canva.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital (social media, email, digital ads) and traditional (print, in-store) platforms.
  • Plan, create, and post engaging content—both images and videos—for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Set up and monitor digital advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.) to drive engagement and traffic.
  • Handle community management by responding to comments and messages and actively engaging with the online audience.
  • Create simple visual content for social media and promotional needs using tools like Canva.
  • Schedule and publish content on various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) in line with campaign calendars.
  • Liaise with suppliers for marketing materials, quotes, purchase orders (POs), and invoices.
  • Assist with organizing and promoting events, activations, and in-store promotions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure message consistency and visual coherence.
  • Monitor campaign performance (sales, ads, and social media) and assist in preparing performance reports.
  • Stay updated with marketing trends and digital tools to support campaign improvements.

 

Profile & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing or digital marketing roles.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
  • Experience in community management and content scheduling.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
