HV Corporate Services Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Group Accountant.
As an assistant group accountant, you will work closely with the Group Chief Finance Officer and the Group Financial Controller. You will be required to assist in the preparation of the Management and statutory accounts, primarily for the holding entity and the corporate services entities, and assist in the budget preparation process, contribute to the group consolidations and assist in other various tasks such as acquisitions, refinancing needs, and the preparation of board packs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial operations tasks such as accounting, billing, payments for the group's entities.
- Assist in the preparation of the management and statutory accounts.
- Prepare relevant reconciliations.
- Ensure the statutory filings are done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation and statutory audit of the consolidated financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of entity level as well as consolidated budgets and business plans as and when required.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure the interest and financial commitments are met.
- Assist in various projects assigned by the CFO and other key stakeholders including and not limited to due diligence, acquisitions, restructuring, refinancing needs, board pack preparation and review of subsidiaries balance sheet reconciliations.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance and/or ACCA level 2.
- Result oriented and can deal with pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and Sage Pastel.
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with cross business units finance team.

Experience:Â
- Minimum 6 years in a progressive finance role with management and financial reporting experience.
- Prior experience with consolidation and audits would be an advantage.
