World Cancer Day | HV Keeps Fit for a Cause

Held over 37 consecutive days, the third edition of the HV Keep Fit Challenge brought together collaborators from Mauritius and Madagascar, pledging to sweat for a cause under the theme: “Together we move. Together we make a difference.”

Through this collective effort, physical activity was transformed into meaningful impact, with kilometres covered converted into donations. A total contribution of Rs 100,000 was made to NGO Link to Life, supporting the organisation’s continuous, multidisciplinary care for people living with cancer in Mauritius, with a particular focus on breast and prostate cancer.

First launched in 2023 on the occasion of World Food Day, the initiative enabled the donation of water tanks to the Bois Marchand community in Mauritius and a primary school in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Since then, the HV Keep Fit Challenge has grown into a unifying initiative that transcends borders, reinforcing our belief that small, consistent actions can lead to real change.

On this World Cancer Day, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting organisations that make a difference — one step, one workout, and one collective effort at a time.
